With fall finally here and our homeschooling in session, fall recipes made easy is my theme. I have been enjoying incorporating S&W Beans to our diet because they look and taste great! Having picky eaters in the home means I have to make food that doesn’t look “yucky”. Between school work, homesteading and two busy kids, I need quick, simple and good looking food on my family table. Keep reading for my new fall favorite recipe: Pork Taco Mixed Bean Chili.

Fall Recipes Made Easy

S&W Beans are a classic staple this time of year. Trusted for premium quality for over 120 years. Beans are something I recommend having stalked up in your pantry. They are easy to use when the power goes out, are sustainable and are convenient for those of us with time constraints but still want healthier food options. Even when times are tough or you need quick fall recipes, a better bean is well deserved. S&W Beans even has 50% less sodium and organic options. When the weather gets crazy or even the day gets crazy, having S&W Beans on hand makes life simpler. I might be a crazy prepper, but I know I will always be prepared.

I’ll be sharing one of my favorite chili recipes today, but S&W Beans even goes outside of that staple recipe. There is a wide variety of options for S&W Beans. One of them being my Greek Garbanzo Bean Salad with S&W Beans.

For something easy and quick that you can throw into the slow-cooker for dinner, my Pork Taco Mixed Bean Chili answers the call. One of my fall recipes made easy. A thick chili that is sure to fill those empty bellies. It pairs great with cornbread. I like using S&W White Chili Beans for the added flavor of onion, garlic chili spices, and jalapeno that is already added in the can. Makes my life simple. No extra ingredients to buy or chop up. Then I add S&W Black Beans along with some select ingredients. All together this simple recipe creates a hardy chili that will warm the family in the cooler fall evenings after a busy day. I think chili tends to be so popular because it is easy to make and usually you have most of the ingredients already on hand.
