These Air Fryer Ground Pork Spring Rolls will be done in about an hour and aren’t as hard to make as you might think.

Spring Rolls are an awesome recipe to make for party food or a filling meal without a lot of work. I know it might seem like Spring Rolls take time to make but don’t let it intimidate you.

Can I substitute another meat for the ground pork?

Absolutely! You can try this recipe with ground turkey, diced chicken or diced shrimp.

You will have to adjust some of the cooking time in the pan to ensure that the meat is properly browned but don’t let this recipe stop you from enjoying another type of protein.

How long do I soak rice paper in the water?

You only need to soak rice paper in water for a few seconds to soften. Do not over soak or the rice paper will begin to break.

I like to fill a shallow pan with water and carefully dip the rice paper in.

A few tips for this recipe:

I recommend using a food processor to chop the cabbage. Having a more minced cabbage tends to make it easier to roll the mixture into the rice paper.

Plus, the green onions are thick enough for that crunch.

What you need to make Air Fryer Ground Pork Spring Rolls

  • ground pork
  • green cabbage
  • green onions
  • reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • lemon juice
  • rice paper
  • large egg
  • canola oil

How to make Ground Pork Spring Rolls

Begin by warming the canola oil in a medium-sized saucepan. Add ground pork and brown.

Add in minced green cabbage and green onions. Mix well together.

Add reduced-sodium soy sauce and lemon juice and continue cooking for another minute or two.

Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes. Beat the large egg in a separate bowl.

While awaiting the mixture to cool, begin prepping rice paper by putting a small amount of water in a shallow baking pan.

Wet the rice paper for a few seconds and layout onto a chopping board. Wash the top of the rice paper with a quick and thin layer of egg.

Add a large spoonful of the mixture to the rice paper. Begin rolling by the point closest to you over the filling.

Bring the side points into the middle. Continue rolling away from you to form a tight seal around the filling. Repeat the process with the remaining wraps and mixture.

Use a cooking spray or lightly oiled paper towel to grease the bottom of the air fryer basket. Add the spring rolls evenly and avoid touching.

Cook in the air fryer at 390 degrees F for approximately 10-minutes or until golden.

Remove after cooking and let cool to room temperature before serving. Spring rolls will be very hot after cooking.

This recipe will make approximately 12-14 spring rolls for everyone to enjoy.

Great for game day parties or a family dinner. Packed with greens and protein, these are very filling.

Once you begin, you’ll get the hang of it quickly and wonder why you were ever nervous to make Air Fryer Spring Rolls!
