I absolutely love donuts! But, I will be the first to admit that frying donuts are a little scary to me. This is why I enjoy using my Baked Donuts Recipe as a way to easily make my favorite dessert without the mess.

This recipe creates a glaze that is similar to that of old-fashioned donuts. However, you can easily make it thicker and more fun by not adding as much milk and throwing in some food coloring.
Add sprinkles or dust with sugar to add more sweetness, if you desire. This recipe is a really great base to make all kinds of fun donut designs and glaze flavors over the top. Just add your favorite instead of the glaze recipe included.
While I recommend investing in a good donut baking pan, it isn’t needed to bake donuts. You can use a muffin tin and ball together a small amount of tin foil in each center. Then, pour the batter around. The aluminum foil will create that “donut hole” in the center. It isn’t always perfect but it can work.
In short, yes! The batter recipe makes for a great way to make mini donuts in a maker. Just be sure to properly follow the manufacture instructions of your maker.
Depending on the size of your donut pan, it will make roughly 18-24 donuts.
