There is nothing worse than waking up Christmas morning to awesome new toys that won’t work because of battery issues. This is why Duracell Saves Christmas in our house. Cheap batteries might seem like the way to go to save money but are we really saving money if we have to keep buying them over and over again? Keep scrolling to see my nightmare when Mom bought the wrong batteries this holiday.
Duracell Saves Christmas
Duracell is the trusted battery source in our home because it keeps my son’s trains moving on his toy tracks. He got pretty bummed with me when I let him open up a new toy before Christmas only to have it not work since I used cheap batteries. You can see his reaction below. He wasn’t too thrilled. Thank goodness it was only a nightmare.
I notice the difference in cheap batteries vs. Duracell based simply on the performance of the electronic toys. As I mentioned, my son loves his motorized train tracks. The trains have to run courses uphill and over obstacles. I can tell when we use other batteries because the trains are not well powered. The trains have a difficult time heading up the tracks. With Duracell, we never have that problem. Duracell really gives these electronic trains the power they need to go, go, go.
This Christmas, don’t let things go into chaos in your home. My husband and I got a kick out of this Duracell commercial this year because clearly our son and situation had a very similar reaction. You can check it out below. It’s funny because it is true.
Be sure to grab enough Duracell batteries to keep away from my nightmare and having a very unhappy little guy at Christmas. Santa and moms both know that we need batteries that work. Electronics give me a moment to step away and cook Christmas dinner while everyone is having fun playing with their new toys. I need that sanity in my life and Duracell Saves Christmas.
