This easy Cream Cheese Frosting will have everyone wanting to lick the bowl when you’re done making it.
By far better than store-bought and it doesn’t take a lot of time to make it. Frost this over any cake recipe that calls for this kind of topping.

What is the best powdered sugar to use in cream cheese frosting?
My favorite powdered sugar is Trader Joe’s Organic Powdered Sugar From Evaporated Cane Juice.
I don’t know what it is about this powdered sugar but it doesn’t overpower any recipe. It isn’t overly sweet and doesn’t taste fake.
Don’t overbeat the frosting
One of the biggest tips I have is to not overbeat this frosting mixture. You want that light and airy texture with just enough stiffness to be able to frost well.
I personally like adding my frosting to a pastry bag and use a large star tip to create a fun design over the top of my sheet cakes.
