Disclaimer: I received the Pfister Wilmington 1-Handle, Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
Recently we began making updates to our kitchen. It is in desperate need of a face-lift. Thanks to Pfister, I’m able to share with you easy kitchen updates.
Easy Kitchen Updates
Easy Kitchen Cabinet Updates
Easy kitchen update ideas revolve around what catches the eye first. Kitchen cabinet updates do not have to be difficult and can easily be DIY kitchen upgrades. A fresh coat of paint and new hardware can do wonders. We primed and painted our cabinet doors a beautiful blue and added silver hardware. The old brass ones had to go.
Another piece of hardware we added were silver hinges. This seems so small, but it really made a huge difference. Plus, the cabinets close smoother with the newer hardware. The “little things” can really make an old kitchen shine.
Update the Kitchen Faucet
This was a big one that brought notice to our kitchen. We received the Pfister Wilmington 1-Handle, Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet to try and we love it. Seriously, I’m not just using “love” for nothing. It was simple to install and has done great things for our kitchen. My husband had it up and running in under 30 minutes. No leak issues. Another DIY kitchen update.
Our old faucet used to squeal. It would wake everyone up if someone turned it on in the morning. It was that annoying. This new Pfister faucet is dead quiet. As a mother of two who wants to let her children get their rest for as long as possible, I am thankful.
My husband’s favorite feature is the weight on the hose. This makes it easy to release the faucet head back into the base when using the pull-out feature. No more stuffing the hose back into the base.
The spout swivels 360 degrees and has two functions (spray and stream) for easy clean-up after meals. I feel like I can really move around the sink now. Makes it easy to hand wash those grimy dishes.
This new Pfister Wilmington 1-Handle, Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet really is the new focal point of our updated kitchen. I love how it has an “old-fashioned” but “classic” appeal. It fits in with our new “country chic” style.
Movable Kitchen Island
We purchased a movable island that I can use when needed. When not in use, it fits perfectly against our wall for added space in the kitchen. It also works great as a serving table during holidays.
The extra storage in our smaller kitchen is awesome. The top open and shuts for storage, and the front drawers are roomy. It looks adorable next to the hutch. One of my very easy kitchen update ideas. You can even purchase the one we have by checking out the link below. For the price, it holds up pretty well. The towel bar isn’t perfect, but it works.
These are a few easy kitchen updates that are not expensive and simple to do. Even the very simplest of updates can make an old kitchen new. It doesn’t take much. Have fun creating your own touches to your kitchen with a budget-friendly kitchen makeover.
