Finding a hotel in Anaheim near Disneyland can be a task. There is such a wide variety of hotels in the area and to be honest, sometimes you just don’t know what you’re going to get. Especially if you’ve never been before. Let me make this easy for you and guarantee that you will be in a great hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms, and fun at your fingertips. Hilton Anaheim has what you are looking for and here’s why.
With 1,574 non-smoking rooms and the largest hotel in Orange County, the Hilton Anaheim is a just short walk away from Disneyland. Even better, if you’re driving, the Toy Story parking area is literally right across the street. There is also family friendly outdoor shopping and dining at Anaheim GardenWalk just a short walk from the hotel.
Hilton Anaheim Offers Family Fun
Speaking of Disneyland, there is a Disney Desk on site that offers a full-service ticket outlet and is staffed by trained Disneyland Resort cast members. You literally are getting the Disney experience right in your hotel. Plus, if you purchase tickets here, they are hard tickets. Skip the ticket booth and head straight to the parks!
One of the coolest features at the Hilton Anaheim is the kids’ Splash Zone on the pool deck located on the 5th floor. Who needs a water park for the littles when they can enjoy some downtime at the pool right in their hotel? If Mom or Dad wants to get something to eat or drink while enjoying some family time at the pool, there is also the Pool Bar & Grill nearby.
Hilton Anaheim Hotel Food Choices
If your family enjoys great foods as ours does, you do not want to miss out on breakfast at Mix Restaurant. The entire family can enjoy a full breakfast buffet or order something off of the menu. Best of all, farm-to-table cuisine is offered here. Something our family values.
Try the fresh jam with your toast too. The presentation at this restaurant is beautiful. The food is simply the icing on the cake.
I enjoyed an omelet while here and let me say that it was the best omelet I have ever had. Hands down. It was perfectly cooked and the fresh ingredients were present. I could have breakfast here every morning during a family vacation.
If a sit-down meal just isn’t in the cards or you’re back late from a busy day of park hopping, the food court is perfect. There are four fast-casual dining options: SubMarina, Baja Fresh, Just Grillin’, and Sbarro. I always love having the option of bringing food back to the room after a busy day.
Now parents, if you have a fitness routine that you like to keep up with, you will not have to worry about missing out on that. The Health Club is fully equipped. I am not just talking about a few bikes and treadmills. No, this is 25,000 sq. ft. of training. The trainers and staff truly care about your personal fitness approach.
If you want to pamper Mom, be sure to check out Pure Escape Beauty Services. This would be a special treat for someone if you are perhaps celebrating a birthday while away. After a long day of walking a pedicure sure sounds great.
Did you buy too many souvenirs and can’t pack them all? Don’t worry, I do this too. Hilton Anaheim has you covered with a full-service Fed-Ex in the lobby area. Sometimes I also want the last minute gift for someone special. Travel Traders Gift Shop or Character Club Souvenir Shop are two large and fun gift shops to browse.
Sometimes family vacations can include more than just immediate family. If someone is able to watch the kiddos, sneak down to the Mix Lounge for a signature cocktail together. Who says the parents can’t have a romantic evening?
Also, I need to mention that the check-out time is 12:00 pm. Thank you, Hilton Anaheim! Many hotels have 10:00 am check-outs or even 11:00 am check-outs. Having a later check-out is incredibly convenient when you have kiddos with you.
There are so many accommodations at Hilton Anaheim that I could have spent an entire day just exploring this hotel. The rooms are up to date and offer comforts of home. Something that I find important when traveling with kids.
Hilton Anaheim is a top choice in family vacation hotels near Disneyland. I love staying on Disneyland property but if you need something that fits right into that feeling that is off-property, this is where you need to be. The staff is friendly, the options are endless, the food is incredible. Your vacation won’t stop in the parks. It continues in the true value that Hilton Anaheim offers its guests.
