If you’re wondering how to make glass paint at home, it is very simple. All you need is flour, liquid dish soap, and gel food coloring.
I also recommend having some containers to keep the paint in or utilize a muffin pan. Grab some paintbrushes (big or small) and let the kids have a great time utilizing their imaginations.

How to Make Washable Window Paint
Grab a large mixing bowl and add flour and water together. Mix well until no longer lumpy.
Add in several pumps of liquid dish soap or about 1/2 of a cup from a bottle. Mix well into the mixture.
You want the mixture to feel thick and sticky enough that it won’t slide off of a window but not be overly fluffy.
Using containers or a muffin pan, add a few drops of gel food coloring to each center. You can mix primary colors to create pinks, purples, lighter greens, blues, etc.
Scoop out about three spoonfuls of the flour mixture and stir together with the food coloring in each container until the color is well mixed.
You can also use just the window paint flour mixture for the color white to draw things like clouds.
Using paintbrushes of any size, begin painting the windows of your home. You can go over things a few time for added color and thickness.
When washing out your paintbrush to go to the next color, be sure to dry your brush a little so your colors will not bleed on the window.
Once the masterpiece is finished, let the window mural dry and enjoy for as long as you would like.
