What you need to make a paper bunny:
- googly eyes
- colored pipe cleaner
- paper plates
- cotton balls
- colored pom-poms
- construction paper
- glue
How to make an Easter Bunny out of paper plates:
Start by cutting out two bunny ear shapes out of construction paper. Draw an outline in the center of the ear to fill in with colored pom-poms.
Using glue or adhesive, add the colored pom-poms to the ears. Take the paper plate and glue down the filled ears onto the top of the plate.
Add glue to the center of the paper plate and begin placing cotton balls around it. Let everything dry for a bit while cutting out a “face” from construction paper. I like to loosely cut out an oval type shape.
Glue the face to the top of the cotton balls near the top under the ears. Glue the googly eyes onto the face.
Use 3-4 pipe cleaners and cut them in half. Wrap one around the others to create “whiskers”. Glue the pipe cleaners to the center of the face.
Glue another colored pom-pom to the middle of the whiskers for the “nose”. Let everything dry and then hang up for fun Easter craft decor. An easy and colorful paper plate Easter Bunny.
