How to make an Easter Paper Plate Yarn Craft
Begin by turning each paper plate over with the bottom facing up. Draw an egg shape in the center that takes up the center of the plate.
Cut out the egg shape as evenly as possible. Using the single hole punch, add holes evenly around the edge of the egg shape. Careful not accidentally punch into the egg outline.
Once you are done creating the sewing area, cut out a long enough piece of yarn to sew into the paper plate. Tape one end to the back of the plate and begin weaving in and out of the holes around the egg. This can be done in any pattern or way that you wish.
Once finished, weave the yarn to the back of the plate one more time and tape the end.
Try using different colored yarn or twine to make multiple different kinds of Easter Egg designs. I personally like to use thicker yarn for toddlers and small children to easily grasp. Yarn can be used for older kids or even adults who want to join in on the fun. Both look great once finished.
