Oh, Disney food. One of my favorite topics to chat about. There is nothing like Disney food and if you don’t believe me, I recommend taking a quick trip yourself. If the place you decide to get away to is Disneyland, here are my favorite snacks at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park.
My Favorite Snacks at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park
Seasonal Macaron from the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café in Disneyland Park
My first stop is a Seasonal Macaron from the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café in Disneyland. There is nothing like a Disney macaron. Biting down into the airy and sweet cookie casing and into the sweet center is divine. If you love a good macaron, don’t miss this! It is one of my top favorite snacks at Disneyland Park.
Grab Some Free Chocolate at Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate at Disney California Adventure Park
Don’t forget to stop at Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate at Disney California Adventure Park. Why? For the free chocolate! You can usually snag a free Ghirardelli square from a Cast Member at the entrance of the shop. They even have some seasonal favorites such as the Pumpkin Spice Caramel during fall.
Classic Malt Shakes at Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate at Disney California Adventure Park
Continuing to stick around at Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate, if you have anything here, enjoy a Classic Malt shake. I personally enjoyed the strawberry flavor but there are so many amazing treats to choose from. On a hot day, this is a great stop to snag a cold treat and watch the world go by on the Pacific Wharf.
Beignets at the Mint Julep Bar in Disneyland Park
If there is anything I love just as much as macarons it is beignets. The Mint Julep Bar in Disneyland Park, New Orleans Square, has the cutest Mickey-shaped beignets. They offer 3-packs and 6-packs and I always say to get the 6-pack. Especially if you’re sharing with others. Kudos to you if you are. Be sure to also keep an eye out for seasonal flavors. Another one of my top favorite snacks at Disneyland Park.
Popcorn Carts at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park
The popcorn at Disney is a classic snack. If anything, go for the cute buckets because as most Disney fans know, new releases become a craze. People go nuts for the popcorn buckets. Let me add that the popcorn itself is pretty incredible. Most of the buckets have a strap to wear around your body like a purse so you always have a snack handy.
Bacon Mac ‘n’ Cheese at Cozy Cone 3 in Disney California Adventure Park
Any cheese and bacon lover is going to gaga over the Bacon Mac ‘n’ Cheese at Cozy Cone 3 in Disney California Adventure Park. This savory treat is something you don’t want to miss. However, it is going to fill you up so this might make a good lunch choice. The bread cone is perfect and buttery too. This combo cannot be matched.
Souvenir “Kitchen Sink” Sundaes at Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream in Disney California Adventure Park
Just about all of the sundaes are amazing at Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream in Disney California Adventure Park but they are even better with a souvenir “kitchen sink”. This adorable souvenir serves as the dish that holds the sundae featuring a touch of Mickey Mouse. Also, if you want to buy just the “kitchen sink”, you can. You will be paying the full price of the sundae but you can request an additional souvenir without the ice cream inside. I will also mention that this dessert is easily shared by two people.
Starbucks around Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park
With the mug craze, Starbucks and Disney have fallen comfortably hand in hand with one another. Grab your favorite Starbucks at Market House on Main Street U.S.A. At California Adventure, you can get your favorite treat at Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe on Buena Vista Street. There is also a Starbucks location in Downtown Disney near Disneyland Hotel. This Seattle area girl cannot go without coffee.
There you have it. Some of my favorite snacks at Disneyland and California Adventure Park. These are top not to miss snacks at Disneyland Resort. Tell me in the comments what some of your favorites are.
