I am very pleased to share that Disney’s cherished animated classic, “Lady and the Tramp,” joins the highly celebrated Walt Disney Signature Collection when it heads home on Digital and on Movie Anywhere Feb. 20 and on Blu-ray on Feb. 27. To celebrate this release, I am sharing my Spaghetti Cupcakes.
Even better, these are spaghetti and meatballs cupcakes! A perfect addition to a Lady and the Tramp movie night.
Lady and the Tramp Joins the Walt Disney Signature Collection
The release of Lady and the Tramp to the Walt Disney Signature Collection is loaded with three versions of the film, classic bonus material, and three all-new features.
I love when Disney keeps the classic and adds some touches too. It brings back childhood memories. Lady and the Tramp has always been one of my favorite films.
As a child, I looked forward to watching it for the wonderful story, music, and adorable puppy dog characters. I adorn a Lady and the Tramp Disney mug on my desk, even. It truly is one of the greatest love stories ever told.
The music always melts my heart. I was excited to introduce this film to our kids so that the classic Disney films can continue onto further generations. Disney was created in these films.
Why not celebrate the fun with Spaghetti Cupcakes? You can even call these Lady and the Tramp Cupcakes to use for a Lady and the Tramp birthday party.
They are very easy to make and add such a fun touch. The iconic spaghetti dinner theme in the movie was the perfect inspiration for these. A lovely Bella Notte!
Spaghetti Cupcakes
Ingredients for Spaghetti Cupcakes
- Chocolate cake mix of choice
- Buttercream frosting
- White icing for piping
- Strawberry syrup
- Ferrero Rocher chocolate candy
- Powdered sugar
How to make Lady and Tramp Cupcakes
- Mix and bake chocolate cake mix into cupcakes via box instructions.
- Let the cupcakes cool completely before decorating.
- Smooth the buttercream frosting over the top of each cupcake.
- Pipe white icing over frosting by piling it on to look like spaghetti. This step does not have to be perfect.
- Pour a small amount of strawberry syrup into a small bowl and roll Frerro Rocher chocolate candies in it before placing on top of the cupcake.
- Carefully drip a small amount of strawberry syrup over the top of the cupcake to look like spaghetti sauce.
- Lightly sprinkle powdered sugar over the top of the chocolate candy and cupcake to look like Parmesan cheese.
- Let them sit for a minute and enjoy!
