Air Fryer Carrots are great for roasting the vegetable for just about any recipe. By themselves or to later add a delicious drizzle.

Carrots in the Air Fryer are simple, quick, and deliver a perfectly crunchy side dish to any meal.
Roasting carrots in the oven can take some time to complete. Putting veggies in the Air Fryer literally cuts the time by more than half.
Plus, you can add oils, sugar, butter, etc. into the recipe for sweet or savory flavor right out of the Air Fryer.
Or, as I mentioned before, roast your carrots while cooking a drizzle over the oven for a beautiful presentation.
How to Make Air Fryer Carrots
Begin by washing your carrots thoroughly and dry them. You can either peel them or leave the peal attached to the carrot.
If you want softer carrots, coat them with a thin layer of olive oil before placing them into the fryer.
If you want a crunchier texture, you can roast carrots without any oils. That’s what I do if I am going to add a drizzle after roasting.
Depending on the size of your fryer basket, you can either lay out your carrots to cook whole or chop them into 1-inch sized for a consistent roast.
Set temperature to 390° and cook for about 15-20 minutes, until carrots are tender.

Use an Oven Safe Bowl
If using wet ingredients, place carrots in a small oven-safe bowl that fits into your air fryer and place that into the basket.
This will help keep the ingredients on your carrots without sliding off.
Air Fryer Carrots are super simple and make the perfect vegetable side dish for family meals. Make your carrot side dish right in the basket or simply roast for a great snack or add garnish later.
No matter how you roast your carrots, air fried carrots are easy, fast, and flavorful.
