Marvel Avengers: Infinity War No Spoilers Review – Buckle Up

Marvel Avengers: Infinity War is hitting theatres everywhere on April 27, 2018, and I suggest you get your tickets now. Buckle up and be ready because this movie is going to take you on the emotional rollercoaster of your life. So much so that I have had to take some time today to write this review.

Honestly, I will say this has to be the hardest review I have ever written revolving around a film. Especially not being able to give away spoilers because I am asking you now. Do not go out looking for answers to this movie prior to seeing it. Stop the theories, stop the searching. Get your ticket and get to the theatre.

Marvel Avengers: Infinity War No Spoilers Review

I will start by saying that seeing most of the characters we have come to love in one film is phenomenal. There is nothing like watching the banter of each of these super-heroes together. You will literally laugh out loud in many scenes.

I will say that this is the most vocal I have ever been in a movie theatre. Apologies to anyone around me. I had some serious “OMG” moments.

As the film unfolds, we begin to see that things aren’t going in any direction we might have predicted. This is why I say to stop reading fan theories and simply see the movie. There was even this surprising moment when I actually felt something for Thanos.

I honestly think there is a little bit of him in all of us where we want what we think is right but we don’t realize the repercussions that it can cause. No matter how delusional he is.

Go into this film with every preparation to leave with emotions. I even suggest taking the day off. Don’t plan anything else after this movie. Just go home and digest every second you can.

Some hot points of Marvel Avengers: Infinity War that I enjoyed were the heavy female support. If you loved Black Panther for the beauty of strong women, this film will not disappoint. There is a particular scene that left me puffing out my chest a bit.

Other moments were the relationships between love interests that have built in this film. Those characters that we always thought were weak or strong share an equal dance of learning to let go for the greater good. Something that I think will pull every heart string in the theatre.

The final thing I want to touch on is if children should see Marvel Avengers: Infinity War? Can I be honest? No. I wouldn’t advise this movie for kids. Not because of anything particular that is violent or adult-content but simply the emotional aspect. I think as adults we can understand what is happening, digest it, and understand that there might be a tomorrow. I am honestly unsure if any child who is attached to these characters would leave unscathed. Just my two cents.

Marvel Avengers: Infinity War has left me with something I cannot explain for the sake of ensuring you see this film with an open mind. However, I can say, it is the best Marvel film to date. This has been 80-years in the making to see Marvel comics come to life on the big screen.

I know the Marvel Cinematic Universe can be vastly different and loved by those who enjoy the comics but it is so much more.

See the film as quickly as you can before it is all out there for the world to talk about. Buckle up and prepare yourself for an intense two and a half hour ride.

Know that there is hope in Captain Marvel and Ant-Man and the Wasp. I have a feeling things will come back with a vengeance in the next Avengers film but for now, that is all I am going to say from here. Enjoy, my friends.
