Best Things to Pack for Disney World
What Luggage to Buy
American Tourister Disney Mickey Mouse Multi-Face Softside Spinner 28
We swear by American Tourister. I was introduced to this company at Disney Social Media Moms on the Road event near Seattle in 2013. I have traveled several times with these bags. No matter if checked-in or carried on, this luggage can hold its own. Not to mention they are the official luggage of Walt Disney World. This means you can purchase adorable patterns for your trip. I have the Mickey Mouse luggage that is pictured. If you love the Mouse you’ll love this bag.

How to Carry Things at Disney World
I’ve done everything from carrying a small backpack to even using a Disney Pin Trading pack. With family along we stick with a good hydration pack that has storage for phone and an extra set of clothes for small children. This way we have access to water at anytime. Plus, they do well holding up in the weather. Rain or shine. The one listed here is a great buy for what it offers. Some hydration packs with storage are in the $100’s. This one runs under $30.
Things You Might Not Have Thought Of
Hefty Slider Storage Bags (Quart, 78 Count)
Water rides mean getting wet. Some more than others at Disney. I recommend picking up a pack of these gallon storage bags. Preferably the slider kind, like these pictured. This way you can store valuables to try and protect them as much as possible.
Jasmine Seven Fresh Feet Wipes 45 Count
Foot wipes sound silly, but when you’re walking all day they can be soothing. Walking in sandals or flip flops make for dirty feet. Before hopping into bed use these wipes to clean and sooth. The peppermint kind are the most soothing. Amazon has a canister for an inexpensive cost. Click “Buy from Amazon.com” to check them out.
Camera covers will help protect your DSLR from the weather. Not to mention the bumps along the way on rides and in crowds. These are much easier to use than a camera bag. Easy off and on. I recommend this one. I’ve used it on countless occasions and trips and it still looks new.
