It’s time to get packing. That trip is right around the corner. I wanted to share with you my simple Disney packing list for Walt Disney World.
Easy packing tips for Walt Disney World are not complicated. Take a deep breath and know that you will have this all figured out before your trip.
Disney Packing Tips
Bring Your Own Food
Disney does offer coffee makers in their resort rooms. However, if you are looking for ways to save some money while traveling at the Disney Parks, bring your own instant coffee packs that are “to-go” capable. Ask for hot water at Disney quick services and make your own coffee.
Pack some protein bars to keep with you when that slight stomach growl begins but you’re not quite ready for a full meal. It will be much cheaper than trying to find snacks in the parks and will help fuel you a bit when going all day.
Also, don’t forget your refillable water vessels. There are a few filling stations throughout the Disney Parks. With bottles of water being a top expense, this will save quite a bit of money.
Better Packing
I recommend packing cubes for your suitcase. They are a great way to store shoes and keep outfits together. I don’t necessarily feel like they save a lot of space but I like that they keep everything together.
FuelRod
FuelRod is something newer to the Disney Parks that is such a lifesaver. These are external chargers that can be used for your phones, portable fans, and more. They run just around $30 (prices subject to change) for the starter kit and can be returned for a new fully charged battery at any location. I recommend bringing your own charging cord to use but these are an excellent option rather than packing multiple external chargers.
Simple Disney Packing List
This list holds some of the basic needs while packing. It will be up to you to decipher how much of each item you might need. Especially when it comes to packing for the kids. I did not list baby items, as we currently do not have to pack any.
However, I have left some “blank spaces” on the list, should you need to write in a few items. We also live across the country, so this list is primarily for those who are flying.

I hope this list is helpful in sparking ideas of what to pack for Walt Disney World. We’ve traveled there (not to mention worked there) several times. I think I could do this in my sleep now.
I’m a list person. I love them, I cherish them, I sleep with them…seriously. They are engraved in my mind. So, if you’re like me, you’ll like this list. While you can always snag items at the resorts on property, it is so much easier (and less expensive) to have items on hand.
At the same time, I’m all about packing as light as possible. You don’t need the kitchen sink to head to Disney. Just take one home by having a Kitchen Sink Dessert at Beaches and Cream at Disney’s Beach Club.
