For our daughter’s second birthday, we celebrated by having a Fancy Nancy themed party. These are some of the Fancy Nancy ideas that we put together for our Fancy Nancy Birthday Party. They are “oh la la” fun.
Did you know that Disney Junior now has a “Fancy Nancy” television series? I know, right?! We are pretty excited too.
Fancy Nancy Birthday Ideas
Our daughter loves Fancy Nancy books. We sent out Fancy Nancy birthday invitations that had some of the wording from the books and invited our guests to dress fancy. Something that Fancy Nancy does in her books when inviting her family out.
Key Items to Not Forget:
- Disposable Utensils
- Napkins
- Wipes for Messy Hands
- Disposable Cups
- Ice for Drinks
- Phone Number of Parents (if they are dropping off their kids)
- Breath – The Party Will Be Fun
Fancy Nancy Party Food
The party snacks menu was a fancy cuisine. Complete with croissants, decadent candies, and fabulous fruit soirees. We served our guests with things like raspberry lemonade. Complete with berries mixed in for an added flavor.
Fancy Nancy Birthday Cake Ideas
Our local baker customized a beautiful character designed cake, complete with raspberry filling. She is amazing. Check out the design below for your own Fancy Nancy Birthday Cake ideas.
If you are looking for something a little simpler, check out my Fancy Nancy Cupcakes. They are a fun way to decorate and enjoy a Fancy Nancy themed cake alternative.
The Decor (that’s fancy for decorations!) – Fancy Nancy Party Supplies
For Fancy Nancy Party supplies, we had a custom banner created by Birthday Express. I was surprised at the great vinyl quality and design. It was well put together.
Plates were found through the same site along with cute Eiffel Tower cutouts for the tables.
Using short round vases, I added a simple purple sparkle ribbon around them and filled them with pastel-colored candies to decorate the cake and food table.
Hats and crowns are perfect party favors for the kids to dress up with upon arrival to add to the “fancy fun”. More fun can be added by placing Fancy Nancy books around the different tables for simple but fun decor.
We completed our look with little accents of jewels, boas, flowers, our daughter’s dress shoes, etc.
Since the kids were all very young, instead of having a pinata that you hit, we purchased one that had pull strings. One string was the trap door opener.
Each child got to pull strings until it burst open with fruit snacks and trinkets for the kids. I recommend these for any party with little ones. It makes it really fun for them.
Our daughter had a blast, and I feel like the kids and adults who attended enjoyed themselves as well. Fancy Nancy birthday ideas are a great way to theme a party.
I hope this post gives you inspiration! Grab some of your favorite Fancy Nancy books and start planning.
